Our Caring Crafters Continue to Make
A Difference In the Lives of Others

The Caring Crafters Ministry meets the second Wednesday of the month from 10:00 am until noon in the church classroom.

Caring Crafters Ministry
St. Faustina Catholic Church

The Caring Crafters Ministry was established on April 27, 2023.  We are crafters that gather together each month to use our talents in sewing, crocheting, knitting and paper crafting to make items through our church and community that show we care and want to serve and comfort those in need.

Currently we are assisting the Bereavement/Consolation Ministry by making our crocheted or knitted prayer shawls for them to distribute to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one; and for the Ministry to the sick and homebound we make lap blankets for them to distribute to those who are suffering pain because of an illness or injury, or feeling sad, lonely or helpless.   We pray as we make these shawls and blankets so that the recipient may be comforted by these handmade items to help strengthen and restore them and know they are not alone when they use them.

We are helping our community by crocheting, knitting and sewing baby items such as blankets, bibs, receiving blankets, sweaters, hats and booties for the South Lake Pregnancy Center.  We also make  blankets, scarves, and hats for the homeless for their use during the colder months.  More projects to come as we grow.

We are a very busy ministry and while our members are socializing, sharing ideas, and enjoying working on their projects or learning new ones, we are also serving and helping others wherever we can.  Even if you don’t crochet, knit, sew or paper craft, you can come and learn to do any of these fun crafts and be rewarded by serving others with your creations.  We have very talented ladies who are willing to teach and share their knowledge with you.

Come join us!
