Father Carlos J. Cabán Vázquez began his priestly formation in 1994 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. He completed his studies in Philosophy and Education in the Dominican Republic and finished his initial formation of theology in Rome. Father was ordained a priest in Aguadilla, PR, in 2005.

After his ordination, the Bishop assigned Fr. Carlos to Parroquia San Francisco de Sales in Cataño, PR. After three years serving as head of the Youth Ministry at Parroquia, Father Carlos was sent to Jarabacoa of the Dominican Republic and oversaw aspiring Salesians. The following year, 2009, he was sent to work at the Industrial Polytechnic Institute of Santiago, where he spent the next four years.

Father Carlos returned to his homeland to work in the Parroquia San José Obrero of Aguadilla for two years as director, administrator, and manager of the Youth Ministry. He was assigned to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, in Orlando, in August 2016. In 2019, Father Carlos became the Parochial Administrator of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and School. On September 10, of 2023, Father Carlos was incardinated into the Diocese of Orlando and became pastor of St. John Vianney Catholic Church before taking over our parish on November 14, 2023 and said his first Mass on the following morning at 8:00 a.m.
