Feeding those in need in our Community.

It is the privilege of every parishioner at St. Faustina Catholic Church to assist in ministering to our community by donating food to those less fortunate. We know our food donations take a little stress off those unfortunate citizens of the Four Corners community who are struggling with un- or under-employment, health issues or family challenges.  Every week, our donations fill up the back of a car, and more, to help feed the community.

We encourage everyone to help us with the donations. Maybe donate that BOGO, that maybe you don’t need.

We were thrilled to hear back from our charity partner, Hands of Hope America, who appreciate our donations.

On behalf of Hands of Hope America, Inc. we would like to sincerely thank all of our parishioners who have supported the St. Faustina “Food for All” ministry since it began in June of 2019. Your generosity has produced more than 20,000 non-perishable food items that have gone directly to the families in need in our Four Corners Community.

Did you know that HANDS OF HOPE AMERICA, Inc., is more than a food pantry serving our Four Corners Community? Besides giving food to those in need, a good portion of it donated weekly by YOU, our St. Faustina parishioners, Hands of Hope American, Inc. is a resource center that provides case management, assistance with employment, educational opportunities, technology training, medical referrals, youth mentorship and a variety of other social services that are needed.

How do I donate food?

To participate in this important outreach ministry, simply bring your non-perishable food item(s) to church and place them in the wagons that are located in the usher’s room. Those donations go directly from our wagons to the pantry shelves at the 9230 US Highway 192 location (which is adjacent to where our parish was at the Zak’s strip mall). Many of you have also provided financial support, and a few of our parishioners donate their time.

Hands of Hope America, Inc. is currently in need of volunteers who have the ability to teach English as a second language as well as volunteers looking to work with youth (ages 6 to 16) after school. If you are able to help, please contact Evelisse at 607-376-1124 or email her at evelisse@handsofhopeamerica.org.
