The Pastoral Council, composed of members of the congregation, is a consultative body for the Pastor that strives to discern the movement of the Holy Spirit among God's people in the parish and foster a community of prayer, leadership, service and pastoral action. The Council advises the Pastor on parish policy, fosters good communication, clarifies parish vision, establishes goals and evaluates the needs of the parish community.
Any council member or parishioner may submit a written item to the agenda for consideration by the Council - this item must be received by the Pastor and Chairperson no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the next Council meeting for consideration.
Parishioners may address the Council in person or submit questions and/or remarks to the Council in writing. Such addresses/requests to address must be submitted to the Council no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the next scheduled meeting.
