As we look to the future of our parish, we're setting our sights on building a permanent church building as soon as God allows us to do so... which we pray is in the very near future. Forty acres of land has already been purchased by the Diocese of Orlando for our church building, which is located about one mile north of our current temporary location on Hwy 27 in Clermont, Fl. Since the establishment of our parish in 2006, we've been saving money to pay for the construction of our new church and currently have about $1.8M set aside for our building fund, which is very close to our $2M goal. This wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the overwhelming generosity of all of our parishioners and visitors, as well as the various fundraisers that were organized by our volunteers throughout the year. THANK YOU!
As we continue to raise money and grow the number parishioners that attend our wonderful parish, meetings are being setup with the diocese to begin the critical path of obtaining the necessary permits to develop the land; designing the building and discussing the details of the construction process. A capital campaign will be launched once the rendition of the future church building will be had.
Stayed tuned for more updates!
