Jesus’ Blood Saved Us…are YOU willing to give your blood to save others?
Why donate blood? Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person — the gift of life. A decision to donate your blood can save a life, or even several if your blood is separated into its components — red
cells, platelets and plasma — which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions.
Donating blood benefits you! Donating blood is proven to help reduce your chance of cancer, according to recent studies. Regular
donations help lower chances of cancer, including throat, stomach, liver and colon cancer.
Why is donating blood important? Blood donation keeps the patient alive by providing a supplementary blood transfusion activity so that
they can live a longer life instead of dying from blood loss.
YOU have an opportunity to help those in our community, and surrounding communities, on
Sunday June 30 from 7:30 am until 12:30 pm RIGHT HERE at St. Fauntina parish. The BIG RED BUS will be parked in our lot located right outside the usher’s room. Please consider giving 30 minutes of your time to give a pint. There are still sign-up opportunities to honor/memorialize a loved one with your donation.
